For any business to flourish its advertisement is a must. Since ages people have been using different forms of ways to popularize their trade. This rule does not apply only to trade but in general spreading of information. Let it be a public gathering or a political meeting one has to gather people by explaining them the purpose of their gathering or meeting. People need banners to promote a rally or public show. Envelopes created havoc during previous years. Brochures and business cards are one of the most important things for promoting any kind of business.
Thanks to the digital version of printing most of the time and money related problems have been eradicated or decreased. This one is a boon to the printing industry since it has lowered the setup cost and it has increased efficiency. This type of printing is used mainly in the smaller industries where there is a need to print items like catalogues, pads, labels, envelopes, post cards, banners, business cards, checks, brochures, etc.
But the things like books, news papers, etc that are large printing jobs still use the conventional methods of printing. Yes but even they use the digital printing in some form or other in order to make their tasks easier and more effective. Digital printing is much more than the paper. It could be done on stuff like cloth, films or even plastic. Has anyone heard about the silk screening? Well then it is a sort of screen printing technique mainly preferred for relatively flat surfaces.
